About Me

Presenting her solo work at the Royal Society in London
Presenting my solo work at the Royal Society in London during the Summerscience exhibition

I am a scientist and a practicing illustrator. I fuse art and science to challenge scientific understanding, transform higher education, and engage diverse audiences through creativity and critical thinking. My current illustrative practice spotlights healthcare inequities affecting women and examines archival material examining epistemologies surrounding science and art.

Francesca is an Assistant Professor in Physiology and Pharmacology  and  course director of Pharmacy With Preparatory Year at Kingston University, London.
